Gin fizz

  • 1.5 ounces Old Diamond Wedding gin
  • 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • .5 ounce simple syrup, or sugar
  • 2.5 ounces soda or sparkling water ("fizz")
  • Ice cubes

Add gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.  Gently shake it, then strain it into a glass filled with ice.  Add soda, and garnish with a slice of lemon.

Note:  To make it alcohol-free, just leave out the gin and add more club soda.  Very refreshing!
